Our Team
Fidel & Charito Corrales
Fidel and Charito are the directors of the children's home. They have been serving for the past 13 years and work hard to maintain the vision that the founders had for the children. They are the children's Mom and Dad and mentors. They are the glue that holds the family together..
Mauricio & Andrea Meneses
Mauricio and Andrea Meneses work as our administrators. Andrea also works as our accountant and they both are essential parts to the functioning of our home and have served with us for many years. They both have hearts for our children and are essential parts of the home.
Tias
The “Tias” are the substitute mothers. We have 2 per house, which gives us a total of 13 “Tias” and one “Tio” for the boys’ house. Their responsibility is to watch over the well-being of the children in their particular house.
Tios
Also the “Tios”, which consist of the men in charge of maintenance for the buildings, land, water supply and vehicles.
Professional Staff
Part of our professional staff includes: a Social Worker, a Psychologist, an Educator, a Health Coordinator, a Lawyer and an Accountant.
We also have an administrator, two cooks, a person in charge of the storehouse and a secretary.
All members of our staff work together to create a family environment for the children here at Casa de Esperanza.
